How hot was it here today?... Does this answer your question?

Today, here in Tracy, it reached a high of 102ºF. Being the thorough researcher that I am, I also went ahead and calculated today’s heat index. The figure that I came up with was approximately 450ºF, give or take several hundred degrees. According to the experts, prolonged exposure in heat index temperatures of 130ºF and above can very likely land many people in the hospital with heatstroke/sunstroke. I, on the other hand, am not a mere mortal like most people. Being the fool that I am, however, I decided to investigate whether or not this heat index phenomena is for real. Well, here is your proof.

Now, who wants pancakes?

F.Y.I. - The actual heat index high for Tracy today was 100ºF, but it sure felt like 450º!

heck, NO WAY you cooked that egg outside!!!! Make a video of that feat and then I'll believe it! Poor Pumpkin must have stayed inside or she would have melted to pumpkin mush!

PS - the powers that be had the A/C cranked up so high in the office that I actually had my space heater on all day. Crazy, yes I know.

Nice pics of Maddie at the bottom of the page! She's happy to see herself here.

Is the orange background in honor of Miss Pumpkin? How come lavender or fuschia is not a color choice?!?

Orange, 'cause it's freakin' hot out here!

My apologies for not including your color choice requests in the poll - next time.
