Spring Break = Spring Cleaning

Well, it has been put off long enough. After neglecting the garage for the past gazillion years, we've decided to take our lives into our own hands, and dedicate the next couple days to throwing away unused/useless junk and making some space so we can put more junk in its place. After all, that's what Spring Cleaning is all about, isn't it? So, here is a "before" picture. Believe me, it is much worse than it looks. In fact, I'm afraid that we may open a box and find Jimmy Hoffa in it - yikes. I'll come back on Tuesday with the "after" picture, and hopefully you'll be able to see a difference!

Hi Pei! Hope that you are having a great time in NC! You've missed a couple of gorgeous days out here in Northern CA - I hope that it is just as nice out there! Yes, the garage scene was very scary, but not as scary as having to brush aside piles of dead ants, spider webs & eggs and other unknowns, just in order to open up some of the boxes. I'm not a big fan of the black widows. Nonetheless, it has been a pretty productive couple days here. Found some great momentos and pictures that I thought were long gone. May have to post them later this week. Even found a wooden nickel that has since petrified. Ok, not really. Tomorrow I attempt to erect some shelves out there - this is where I will need your luck - Thanks!

Hey, can we borrow that green dolly when you're done with it? Actually it looks like you need a Bobcat to cart all that stuff out to the curb. Don't worry tho - our garage looks 3x as bad. I was digging thru a box in the back of the garage the other night looking for something when I swear I heard something move around next to me in the shadows. That was that - went screaming like a maniac into the house and that's all she wrote for my spring cleaning, at least by myself!!

Hey Bronxbombers, believe me, all my senses were turned up to "11" as I touched each box! There's a box or two out back that have chucked with its contents barely touched - did you know that piles of dead ants start looking like rodent poop after a while? Mmmm, tasty. Thanks goodness I won't need to rent that Bobcat, as the city has their annual Spring Clean-up event in a couple weeks. If it wasn't for this, a bonfire would not be out of the question. Let me know when you need the dolly, I'll bring it down whenever you need it - along with the mouse glue traps.
