So, can you see a difference? Ok, it's not earth-shattering, but after all the dust settled (literally), there is now a lot more breathing space in the garage. We threw out a ton of junk, recovered long lost floor space, and even installed some shelving. The best part of this exercise, however, was finding old pictures, "artwork" from elementary school days, letters/papers and momentos - I even found my first baby shoes!

Yeah, yeah, I'm very impressed. Now all I have to do is get Mr. BronxBombers to get out and do the same thing . . .
Here's another quest for LIMOTW: what was the name of the strawberry farm at the end of LI where we used to go out and pick our own berries for Mom's favorite strawberry jam?? And can you find a picture of it?????
Hey BB - check out the new LIMOTW. Is this the place that you were referring to? Who can forget the annual trips to the farm to pick strawberries for Mom's strawberry jam. I can't remember if you were there with us, but I remember going there this one time, when I was very young and confused, with Dad to pick strawberries. Back then, I wasn't a big fan of strawberries, so I can imagine that I was probably making Dad's day just miserable! Anyhow, I'm guessing that this excursion was mercifully shortened when a Japanese woman came up to me and dumped her large supply of strawberries in MY basket! During this "transaction", this nice woman was speaking Japanese to me the whole time. Of course, I didn't know what the heck she was saying. But I would imagine she was probably saying "Here, take these strawberries and scram you whiny little brat!" I'm still not a big strawberry fan - love the smell and taste, but those little seeds just freak me out!
