If you are looking to infect yourself with some Holiday Spirit, a trek into a city during the month of December will quickly spread this "virus" throughout your system! Today, we took the train into San Francisco to shop and to get into the spirit of the season. Although we were largely unsuccessful in achieving the main objective today - getting some Hanukkah/Christmas shopping done for friends and family - we were treated to a combination of beautifully clear, sunny weather and healthy dose of beautiful Christmas decor and holiday cheer! And as an added bonus, we were able to get some exercise in too. Areas covered today include Union Square, Chinatown, Financial District, and the length of the Embarcadero from the Ferry Building to Pier 39 - then a return trip to see the Christmas Tree lit up in Union Square.
