While the cat's away...

A number of factors led to the pictures in today's blog entry. First off, a new addition arrived at our house yesterday. No, it wasn't delivered by a stork. Instead, it was delivered by the US Postal Service via Ebay. Welcome Dick Williams to the ever-growing Oakland A's bobblehead collection. It's a long story why Mr. Williams was acquired, and I'd rather not get into it today. Anyhow, another factor that played a role in today's picture choice was that I had to take a half day off from school today due to an "impromptu" dental procedure... another story I really don't want to waste your time with at this time... a little embarrassing actually. Bottom line, however, I had some time to play around this afternoon. Lastly, as you may know by now, Kim took off for Ohio earlier today to surprise her parents. If you've been following this blog for a couple months, you'll understand why there is a "restraining order" against me on behalf of the bobbleheads... especially after that ugly treadmill incident. Ooof! Nevertheless, who's here to stop me now? So, in order to kill time and the effects of novacaine this afternoon, I decided to have a "convention" to honor the arrival of the Dick Williams bobblehead.

I fear the novacaine may have numbed much more than my mouth...
