Decided to take it real easy today. As the crisp, cool morning fall air descended upon us in Northern California this week, this weather and the cat made it especially hard to crawl out of bed. Why did the cat play a role in this, you ask? When the weather changes in fall, and the nights/mornings become cooler (< 55º), Pumpkin will take up residence in our bed each night. What makes it worse, is that she will seek out the warmest part of the bed to settle while we sleep, and she will remain there (unless she has to hit the box or grab a midnight cat snack) until I wake up in the morning. Unfortunately, this spot remains constant throughout the fall and winter.
