The neighbor’s cat

“Oreo”, as we have nicknamed him, is the cat who lives in the house behind us. He is widely known as the “top tom” cat in the neighborhood - as he appears to control a large swath of local real estate. Quite frequently, Oreo can be found outside our back door, either laying around or loudly meowing for Pumpkin, our strictly indoor cat, to come to the window to play. It is very entertaining when Pumpkin and Oreo start “fighting” - as both will start clawing and “dancing” at the window and begin rolling around on their respective side of the glass. Today, I found Oreo lounging under a chair by the pool - obviously, with the feeling of fall in the air, he was just savoring one of the last days of summer.
