It's been a long week, I'm tired and crabby, and to cap it off, I am being subjected (mostly against my will) to 4 (yes, f-o-u-r) Oakland A's games in the next 6 days. Tonight was the first of these games, and unfortunately it was Kurt Suzuki Bobble Head Day. And you know what that means - getting to the Coliseum hours ahead of game time so we can acquire a couple pieces of plaster held together by a spring - oh freakin' joy! So to cut to the chase and review the night, we got our bobble heads, the A's lost (one positive from the evening), got home safely despite driving half-asleep, and I will get to hit the sack once the pictures below upload (the last positive from the evening). Unfortunately, tomorrow I need to get up early and bring in my car into the shop for the third consecutive Saturday (7 am!) - just to fix a brake light - odds are that this third time will be a charm. Tomorrow evening brings the second game in this torturous series - and it is guaranteed to be another long night, as it is Fireworks Night #1. Nevertheless, I promise to bring you another installment tomorrow night when I get home, less attitude, and hopefully, better night photos to show off the fireworks show.
