Ok, not really. But if you only knew about my lack of success in growing tomatoes, you would understand my crazed excitement (I know, get a life). Every March/April, I plant a couple tomato plants - one cherry tomato, and one "Beefsteak" or "Early Girl". For some odd reason, during the past 3-4 years, only one of the plants would produce fruit. This week, I noticed that several cherry tomatoes were beginning to ripen. When I went out to see if they were ready to be picked yesterday, I noticed out of the corner of my eye, that several large tomatoes from the neighboring plant had been growing without my knowledge - and one was even ready to be yanked! Woohoo! Here's the proof!
