Starting today, and then
every Friday this summer, I will be giving away an item of great value (to some poor soul)! Because of the "pricelessness" of the items to be given away, one will have to earn the right to take each prize into their possession.
The rules are simple. On Fridays, in addition to a picture of the item to be given away, a
question related to the item will also be posted. The
first person to post the correct answer to the question will be awarded the
prize and an even more valuable
certificate (similar to the one depicted below) suitable for framing!

Here is today's picture...
Question: The character, pictured above, stars in a recently released movie.
Name the movie.
*On a side note, I've added a couple new things to the left sidebar of the blog. One of my online vices is checking out baseball memorabilia on eBay. Quite often, I run across a bizarre auction as I search this site. If you are interested, check out some of the crazy auctions found on eBay this week. The second item that I just added is a chat feature. You do not need to register for anything to use the chat option. If you would like to help me test it out, just leave your name and message and hit "go".
6/28/08 edit: We have a winner!

Rafiki (Lion King)
Ooooh, good guess.
"BUZZ"... wrong. Try again.
(I do see the resemblance, must've been the same artist who drew up Rafiki.)
hmmm, I think I know, but will wait and see if someone who has actually seen the movie guesses right. The clock is ticking.....
Hey, don't hold back. Besides, i'm not sure any visitors to this blog have gone out of their way to see this movie..... or at least, will admit to it publicly. So, to put your mind at ease, we won't hold it against you if you actually know the name of this movie!
Time's up!
my guess is kung fu panda????
WINNER! Way to go, bb!
Do you mind sharing with us how you figured out the answer?
One of the guys in my office is addicted to Mickey D's breakfast sandwiches and he mentioned the other day that he's collecting the happy meal toys for his kids. It looked like a HM toy so it was just a lucky guess!! Mmmm, an egg mcmuffin sounds gooooood right now....
That's the way I found out about it too - Kim got a Happy Meal (it's been sooooo long since we've been here) the other day, and she got "Master Monkey" as the prize!
Now you will be the envy of the office when you display it, along with your certificate, on your desk!
