OK, to make up for my feather-ruffling entry yesterday (though totally unintentional), today, I am beginning the countdown to the first day of summer - which this year is June 20 @ 11:59pm. Summer, for me, is the season I most look forward to. Though it is a depressing time when I’m missing my great friends from school, it is the season that I get to turn life down a notch, and do things that I don’t have the time to do during the rest of the year - such as, getting the yard in order, swimming in our neglected pool, playing a game that resembles golf, and traveling. This summer’s travel highlights will include the now-legendary biennial Abe Family Reunion in Baltimore (Highland, MD), and shortly after, a restful trip to Ko Olina (on Oahu).
In our yard, one sign that summer is just around the corner is the emergence of our tomatoes (here are some cherry tomatoes just beginning to take shape). Scintillating, isn't it?

Yes, time to work on that golf game of yours - Tiger's waiting for a partner.
Did you see him play yesterday? This guy is amazing. I'm quite sure he would still school me with TWO gimpy knees, blindfolded, one arm tied behind his back, and playing only with a putter...
