Finding this brought back memories of my Dad taking me to empty high school and church parking lots, and practicing parallel parking and 3-point turns over and over and over again. How parents actually survive this period in their child's life is way beyond me! Being the head case that I still am, despite all that practice, I believe that it took me at least a couple tries to earn the "PASSED ROAD TEST" stamp. And although, at the time, it was pretty exciting to finally get DMV's approval to drive, I am quite sure that I did not fully appreciate how important this achievement was.
