At first glance, (and probably a few beyond that...) it may appear that I have some kind of sickness. Who, in their right mind would have more than 1 or 2 similar pairs of sneakers? Have to admit, that I am kind of rough on my shoes - going through 2-3 pairs of sneakers every school year... partly because I like to play, and partly due to my livelihood as an APE teacher. So this explains the 2 brand new pairs that are front and center. Older pairs are usually "retired" and are worn when working out in the yard, or when I don't feel like wearing rigid, "unbroken-in" shoes.Beyond this, I can't really explain the remaining pairs which I've stubbornly held onto...
Note: Yes, those are my "winter-white" feet in the background. Pretty stupid since it had just rained, with temps in the mid-40's here. I really don't know what I was thinking at the time, other than "gee, my feet are freezing right now". It probably would have been a wise move to put on one of these pairs of sneakers... oh well.
