For me, it is really depressing when it comes time to store away the Christmas decorations. December is not one of my favorite months - but the lights, the sounds and the smells of the season do a lot to prop me up. So today, I spent most of the day - moving at a snail's pace - taking down the ornaments and tree. What probably should have been a half-hour process, turned into a half-day process.
As we near the end of 2008, I chose to pack this ornament last... in the hopes that 2009 will bring you and your loved ones health and happiness!
