Life takes away your favorite ("fill in your favorite piece of clothing here")!
I am, by no means, a "clotheshorse". I just don't get attached to certain shirts or pants like some people may. During the week at school, since I'm usually running around with the kids, my wardrobe largely consists of sweats, t-shirts, and other active wear. Although I do like to wear "street clothes" when I can - other than on weekends, this opportunity doesn't present itself very often.
Here is the shirt that I grew fond of wearing outside of school. No, it didn't get ripped apart in the washer or dryer. And no one stabbed me with a burning cigarette either. Ironically, this damage (hole) was incurred during a "light" student day at school - a day when I just didn't feel like wearing my "PE clothes". Although it has been more than a week since I snagged it on a fence (don't ask!), I am still mourning its loss.

Make me laugh my favorite pair of jeans got a hole in the pocket butt area and I have them in my room like they will magically fix themselves. They were comfortable like a washcloth but never fear i shall patch them afterall i quilt.....they say
