Final Home Game of 2008 • Oakland A's vs. Seattle Mariners • McAfee Coliseum • Oakland, CA • 9.21.08

For the final Oakland A's home game of the 2008 season, we decided to splurge and upgrade our seats. Seated eight rows from the field and next to the bullpen, we watched as the A's honored their all-time greatest players in the team's 40 year history. After the ceremonies, the A's played another solid game - coming from behind to defeat the Seattle Mariners 5-3. While they will end up with a losing record this season, the A's are finishing the season strong.

Being so close to the action, I couldn't resist filling the memory card with pictures today. Lucky for you, I am posting just a sampling. If you are a real glutton for punishment, I included a few more in yet another video which you can see here... (best viewed in high quality)

... If you are brave enough to wander over to YouTube, please excuse the hokey intro music to the video - had to find 1:18 worth of "filler" sounds.

Mercifully, for me, I get my weekend life back for a few months - until this madness begins again next April.

Hey, Eric these are very clear pictures of baseball. I love this game and always like its hard hitting shots.
