Ugh! The A's got rained out in Kansas City tonight - thus, further delaying the end to this torturous season. As a result, these two teams will be playing a doubleheader tomorrow. Please have mercy on those fans who will buy a ticket to sit/snooze through watching these pathetic teams play TWO games!As September arrives, football season now begins. Now I have to admit, I am not a football fan. Before my brother-in-law, Mark, began his wildly popular long-running fantasy football league and invited me to play, I could pretty much care less about anything related to football. However, since subscribing to this annual fall ritual, I now find my eyes glued to ESPN every Sunday night - eagerly looking to see if I chose the right teams to win. Although success has eluded me since joining the league, this year I am rolling out a "secret weapon"! This blindfolded Eric Chavez bobblehead will be attempting to choose the winning teams this season. (duh, not much of a "secret" anymore.) But heck, how much worse can he do?
