Some miscellaneous blog notes for the week...

With Kim away, I had a devious plan to record all the things that I do around the house when she’s away... just to prove to her that I really don’t putz around on the computer or lay around and watch the Olympics all day and night. But with the Little League World Series on, paired with all the exciting Olympic happenings... how can you keep your eyes from away from the clutches of the idiot box? Then on top of that, trying to master (ok, halfway succeed in) the two games that are presently on the blog - “Parking” and “Mini Golf”, how can anyone get anything done around this place?!?!?

But seriously, it has been a busy couple days here, as I wanted to get a few things tidied up - as they will be surely ignored during the school year. Though I was able to shampoo the rugs, somewhat clean my desk, clean the pool and clear some weeds & crap from the yard - I didn’t get to even half of what I wanted to accomplish this week. Where does the time go? Anyways, it is with some depression that I write this blog entry. For tomorrow brings about the beginning of the school year for me - no kids, but I need to attend a variety of teacher inservices. I just hope I get up in time to drag myself out the door.

Regarding the final Friday Blog Trivia, I will be posting it back at its original 5 am PST/ 8 am EST time slot this week. It will be a “grab bag” - with no one common theme to any of the questions. However, you will need some basic math skills in order to answer some of them. : )
