It's unanimous, it's "anonymous"!

Congratulations to "anonymous" for winning the final Friday Blog Trivia! Excellent tabulating, Tamie! I'm surprised no one else was brave enough to show off their addition skills today!

Sorry for confirming the results so late today...
Here are the answers:
1.) Find the sum of the ages of the living former US vice presidents.
* Walter Mondale (80) b. 1.5.28
* George H. W. Bush (84) b. 6.12.24
* Dan Quayle (61) b. 2.4.47
* Al Gore (60) b. 3.31.48
• 285
2.) Add all of the ages of the living former US presidents.
* Jimmy Carter (83) b. 10.1.24
* George H. W. Bush (84) b. 6.12.24
* Bill Clinton (62) b. 8.19.46
• 229
3.) The biggest things since Britney Spears, add all of the ages of the Jonas Brothers (whose last name is Jonas, and is a performing member of this group.).
Paul Kevin "Kevin" Jonas II (21) (b. 11.5.87)
Joseph Adam "Joe" Jonas (19) (b. 8.15.89)
Nicholas Jerry "Nick" Jonas (15) (b. 9.16.92)
• 54
4.) Add the number of vowels in "Michelle Obama" and "Cindy McCain" (do not include their middle names).
• 9 or 10 (if you count the “y”)
5.) Where can you find a 700+ ton "tuned mass damper"?
• Taipei 101 - the world’s tallest building, located in Taipei, Taiwan. Regarding the Met Life Insurance Building in New York, I wasn't able to confirm if it, in fact, had a tuned mass damper - but the nearby Citicorp Center does have one - though I could not find its dimensions. What is so amazing about the tuned mass damper is that it counterbalances the effects of nature (i.e. wind, earthquakes, etc.) that would make a building sway. In the case of the 101-story, 1600+ foot tall Taipei 101, its tuned mass damper reduces its sway by 30%-40%. Pretty amazing stuff!
