Friday Trivia #6 Winner..... Cranzilla!

Oh, my! Cranzilla took less than 17 minutes to answer all 7 questions (BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ, Brainiac alert!..... or, you must be a charter member of Dionne Warwick’s Psychic Friends network.). I really have to make this thing more difficult! Perhaps adding a physical challenge? Break out those webcams : )! Who likes to eat bugs? Alright, I'm not being serious.

Fantastic job, Cranzilla • You’ve won Friday Blog Trivia #6!

Before I list this week’s answers, I must sincerely apologize - especially to bronxbombers. Throughout the week, I’ve been noting that Friday Trivia would be posted at 5 am EST - when that should have read 5 am PST (8 am EST). This obviously was an oversight on my part, and again, I am so sorry if you set your alarms for 2 am PST!

Here are the answers to Friday Trivia's “Death & Texas” challenge.

1.) Who said the following? 'Houston, we've had a problem. We've had a main B bus undervolt.'
• The answer is James Lovell, who along with John Swigert, Jr. and Fred Haise Jr., made up the crew of US Apollo 13.
Swigert: 'Okay, Houston, we've had a problem here.'
Duke: 'This is Houston. Say again please.'
Lovell: 'Houston, we've had a problem. We've had a main B bus undervolt.'

Lee Majors

3.) Who was Steve Austin’s fiancee (fictional name or actual actress name is acceptable)
Jaime Sommers (Lindsay Wagner)

4.) Who was the Governor of Tennessee during President John Quincy Adams’ last two years in office?
Sam Houston - born in Virginia, one-time governor of Tennesee, then later moved to Texas... and the rest is history.

5.) What year and in what state did Alamo Rent A Car begin its business?
Florida in 1974

6.) The city of Texarkana is actually two cities (huh?). Obviously, it sits on the border of the states of Texas and Arkansas. Name the street that joins these two states in Texarkana.
State Line Avenue

7.) Name the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band that wrote a song entitled “Texarkana” and the album/CD that it first appeared on.
R.E.M. • “Out of Time” (1991)

Next Friday, I will, hopefully, be posting from poolside in Ko' Olina. I would have to bet that the subject for Friday Blog Trivia may be somewhat related to my surroundings. But, we'll see.

*Please note, as a trial run, Friday Trivia will be posted next week at 12 noon PST/3 pm EST.

Congratulations again, Cranzilla!  Your pen & postcard set are on its way!

HEY! I thought this week's blog trivia winner was supposed to win a trip to Hawaii?! What are the size requirements for checked luggage these days?

We would absolutely love it if you guys came along. This time, however, you may have to pick up some of the tab for being checked luggage : ). Unless, I can squeeze you into one of the overhead bins!
