Last night’s game featured the Oakland A’s debut of a couple new players just acquired in a trade with the Chicago Cubs this past week. One of these players, Sean Gallagher, was the starting pitcher for the A’s. He pitched impressively, as he allowed only 2 hits and 2 runs in the 7 innings that he pitched. The other player, Matt Murton, drove in a couple runs, and also made a couple sparkling defensive plays in left field. Oakland fans at the game saw fireworks during and after the game, as the A’s pummeled the Angels 9-2.
