Keep trying!

I thought Tamie's answers were right -- were you penalizing for incorrect spelling of "Squishee"?

1. Japan
2. Squishees
3. 500,000
4. B) Press your tongue to the roof of your mouth.
5. A) Air

I think there are three variations (though not official) on the spelling of Squishee, some spell it "Squishie", and "Squishy". So, all of these - or any answer that phonetically resembles Squishee is happily accepted. Unfortunately, each of you do not have all 5 questions answered correctly..... yet.

Try again!

Next time Tamie..... next time. I'll let you pick the subject for Blog Trivia #4. ;)

That was sort of a tricky question b/c I found conflicting info on 2 different sites:

Fun Facts on 7-11's website says "7-Eleven customers sip more than 13 million Slurpee beverages each month." -- so I divided that by an average of 30 days per month to get approx. 500,000.

and

Slurpee's Own Official Site says "Every day more than 11.6 million Slurpee drinks are consumed around the world."

Weird, right? If this was an official 7-eleven sanctioned contest, I might offer to share my winnings with Tamie, but since it's not...hope you'll be able to deliver my prize in person in less than 2 weeks!!! ;)

It's perfect timing b/c we just got a water cooler at the office and I needed a reusable cup to use!

Nice catch Cranzilla.

and also from that 7-Eleven site:

"7-Eleven sells 60 million fresh-baked donuts and pastries per year.... uses 365,000 pounds of glaze each month on its donuts, fritters and other pastries."

Reading that made my teeth ache!

I did the same thing with that Cranzilla did and derived my first answer from the official 7-11 website...I don't know Cranzilla you better watch the cup closely in MD.......:)

Eric I will leave the topic for next week to you

Unknown said...

Ooh, that would be an interesting story line to watch in MD! Cranzilla, you may have to wait until the reunion to claim your prize... : )

Don't worry, it will be out in the mail by tomorrow.

Next week's topic: Cat Fighting.

E - by all means, you can save yourself the postage money and bring it to the reunion. Put what you save towards the next prize...which will be mine too :0

hmmmmm...cat fighting? I think I might have a photo to submit for that one. The most devilish, overweight, aggressive male cat I know is my mom's cat Bochan ("little boy" he is not), who just got declawed. You might want to stay away from him at the AFR. He is *not* a friendly feline!!!

Okay...1 hour, 4 minutes until the weekend is here! Too bad I don't have the summer off like *SOME* people!!!
