Have a Niece Weekend!

Lauren and Ava graced us with their presence this weekend. Right from the car, they were ready for pool time! Much of the afternoon today was spent in the water - as we checked out Lauren’s fish-like swimming skills, and Ava’s breath-holding prowess! It was kind of difficult to maneuver around, however, as Willy and the crab (named Sebastian by Lauren), kept butting in. After all that swimming, we all worked up an appetite - so we headed off for a nice dinner at Chili’s. Shortly after getting back home, the girls crashed (one of them, at least). That can mean only one thing... they will be up by 6 am, ready for breakfast! Luckily, Kim has a battle plan ready to go - the girls will be making doughnuts! (and I’ll be renting a power washer from the Home Depot to spray them and the kitchen down.)
