Everyone in the Pool! (Willy's First Appearance of the Summer)
Well, this week didn't get off to the best of starts (get out your violins, and start playing a sad song). Why? All day, I dreaded walking into an un-air conditioned house (it stopped working last night) in 100º+ degree weather. Called our HVAC people this morning, and they gave me more bad news - none of their repairmen would be able to come out until Thursday afternoon. Worse yet, temperatures have been forecasted to hit 115º here this Wednesday and Thursday. Anyhow, fast forward to our arrival in Tracy, it was 102º outside, but a cool 90º inside (sarcasm) the house - the cat even had her feet propped up with a cold milk in one hand and a fan in the other (yes, a freak cat with opposable thumbs... got something to say about it?). Something drastic had to be done. So, I did the only thing I know when major appliances stop working - replace the fuses. And wouldn't you know it, success! Go ahead and call me spoiled, but how people survive or survived without air-conditioning in this heat is beyond me!
Needless to say, it was cause for celebration.

Free Willy! Your pool will certainly be a glorious retreat for overheated family members at AFR '10!
If the weather is anything like it is this week, count on looking like a wrinkled prune at the end of the weekend - as all activity outside the pool will be discouraged and frowned upon! ; )
