To set the record straight, I’m not a big TV watcher. And when I get hooked on a show, it usually isn’t until long after it’s premiere, and it usually isn’t one of those reality-based shows (i.e. Survivor, Big Brother, Real World, etc.). However, the promos to a new show airing tonight (Tuesdays nights on ABC - 9pm in our market) kind of struck my fancy. The name of the show is “I Survived a Japanese Game Show”. I’m off to watch it now. If you happened to have caught this show tonight, let me know what you thought of it.

“I Survived a Japanese Game Show”

Well, here are my first thoughts. Some fun games and good falls, but the show really didn't bowl me over. The reason I really don't like reality shows is all the side drama that goes on - and although this show's side dramas weren't so, well, dramatic, I think it would have been a better show without all the background stories/drama. Blame it on my ADD, but I just like action - and seeing some good wipeouts. I'll probably give this show another week or two, but I'm not so sure that it will reel me in.
