The “Before” Images • Kim’s New Office

In belated celebration of Kim finishing her “Level II” (final set of classes California requires to teach in a Special Education classroom), we have embarked on a mission to transform our “junk room” into a room that Kim can use for her favorite pastimes (scrapbooking, reading, counterfeiting currency from Eastern European nations, etc.) in her newly found “free time”. Though not as shockingly disheveled as our garage was (if you must, please go to the Blog Archives on the sidebar to your left and refer to the March Spring Cleaning episodes), we always made sure that this room had its door shut, bolted and chained when company came over - for simple fear that our guests would be devoured by its contents. Anyhow, the painting has been completed, as has our marathon IKEA shopping excursions (the food ain’t great, but I could still easily spend days at a time in this place!). As of tonight, the goal is to have all items assembled and in their place by this Saturday - so you will have to wait and look for its “unveiling” then.....
