With 157 more games left in the baseball season, the end of the first week of play finds my beloved Yankees sporting a sterling 2 win and 3 loss record. For you naive baseball fans, yes, I am being sarcastic once again. It’s a good thing that the baseball season is long, and ANYTHING can happen between now and October. Today, we attended our 2nd game of the year, as the Oakland A’s took on the Cleveland Indians. Although I was close to “sawing logs” by the 5th inning, this game was a little more exciting than the one we attended on Opening Night. As opposed to the result of their home opener, the A’s were able to celebrate after this game, as they prevailed over the Tribe by a score of 6-1.

Thank goodness it's a long season.
